THE SILK ORCHESTRA
"The Silk Orchestra" - Inspired by
the practice of tai chi chu'an
and the martial arts, this all-Canadian World Beat/New Age ensemble
features a blend of traditional Chinese instruments, electronic
keyboards, voice & percussion.
Pat Clemence is the composer, arranger and originator
of this
project which explores the art of balance and harmony in these
Eastern disciplines. Pat has also written and recorded
three albums for Serenity Label
Featured performers include:
George Gao, master of the erhu (2-stringed Chinese
violin),
Ron Korb, Chinese and silver flute virtuoso,
France Gauthier, singer extraordinaire, and
Peter Mosley, award winning percussionist and
percussionist
