PAT CLEMENCE
Pat Clemence is a highly accomplished
composer and musician who
makes his home just north of Toronto Canada. Working in his private studio,
Pat writes and records deeply healing music, as well as music for for television,
radio and the stage. His original scores have been heard on the Canadian
Broadcasting Corporation's national network, as well as all the Radio Canada
French-language national services. In addition, Pat has scored a number
of television series in both English and French for TV Ontario, and has
served as musician/composer for a number of theatrical productions.
Together with his wife, singer-actress France
Gauthier, Pat is one-half of
the performance - recording duo HARA. HARA has performed live
concerts across Canada, as well as on television and radio, and has won numerous
awards for their original works. Their music has received airplay across
Canada and Quebec, and in Europe.
As an avid practitioner of tai chi chu'an,
Pat recently recorded his
Chinese-influenced World Music ensemble THE SILK ORCHESTRA
for the OASIS label out of Toronto. THE SILK ORCHESTRA was the result
of Pat's commission as composer and musical director for the
Hong Kong Festival in Toronto. Check out the SILK
